About the M3D Training Program
A collaboration of MIT Speech Communication Group, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, the M3D Training Program guides early- and mid-career gesture reesearchers through the M3D gesture annotation process via a number of challenges. These challenges address different aspects of gesture within the dimensions of M3D and contain explanatory videos, interactive gesture recognition and annotation tasks, annotation demonstrations, and downloadable self-paced annotation tasks.
My role
I advised and collaborated on this training program and the M3D labeling system to support the dissemination and adoption of multi-dimensional approach to multimodal gesture research, based on current findings in the field.
